A very tumultueous year infact on the world scene.

Why is it that i'm thinking times they are a changing - but for the better?

Just a few things i would like to comment on from my very limited point of view.

Politics:

Gerge W got all the attention - the world only has two years of him left and it's a good thing.

Iraq was definately in turmoil and still is.

Sadam's Hanging to end this year was very costly to my friends from the south over 3,000 lives and hundreds of thousands of inocent Iraquis.

American justice like it or not.

Where the hell Osama bin Laden? Did he not start all this shit.

Space:

Really?

Is mankind seriously thinking of colonizing space at this early stage in out history? why not? Bring it on. The moon, Mars and behond This marks a turning point in human civilization.

Sports:

And on a side note of what north americans consider the 4 major sports NFL NBA MLB NHL 3 of the 4 most valuable player awards went to Canadians. Aint that a kick in the nuts for the U.S of A

NFL = ??? NBA = Rick Nash MLB = Justin Morneau NHL = Joe Thornton

Good for you Canada

Weather:

Global warming is it for real?

A giant ice shelf the size of 11,000 football fields has snapped free from Canada's Arctic, scientists said. This looks serious.

No wonder we are investing an NASA some of us want to get the hell outa here before the whole damn planet disintegrates.

Reality:

But all in all the only things that kept us together was ms - the music, the parties the virtual and real friends you made over the last year.

It's been fun

WMC 2007: and other major events

of course the world will come to a stop for a week or so. the best dj's the best shows the best music from around the planet (electro or not) will gather to entertain us.

that's all i have to say about that.

from the promo and recomdations section of ms - Happy New Year to you all.

Gatz.

P.S - yes yes i will have more musac for you in 2007.

Haha Gatz is drunk, again

cya next week.

Perspective is always a fun thing is it not Gatz? As humans we can always do and wish for the best for all. I hope if anything we all gain a little more sensitivity in global aspect. Even though we live with borders, from the outside we are one self contained circle.

To 2007 a hopeful year for man kind. ;)

Re: My impressions of 2006 - happy 2007 to you all.

agreed.....

It seems to be harder and harder to refrain from loosing all hope for the future of our planet everyday. Music is the one thing that can bring me back to center and shed some light on these times of insecurity and doubt.

I just hope everyone does what they can as an individual so that as a whole we can make a difference for ourselves and our children.

Peas MP

p.s. if you havnt seen Al Gores "An Incovenient Truth" pick it up ASAP quite a wake up i knew we were destoying the earth but had no idea......

.[/quote]

No he didnt!! It was two completely separate events.

Osama completed 9/11 and Bush has not followed through.

Instead Bush fucked over hundreds of thousands of Iraqi's, destroying electricity and water supplies - and now the US wants to leave.

Bin Laden and Al Quada still at large.

IMO of course!

Happy 2007

Re: My impressions of 2006 - happy 2007 to you all.

its steve nash you dolt.

2006 sucked, 07 aint looking better until the US capital suffers an airborne virus that kills every one of the elected gov't officials so toasty can stop bitchin.

people i hope to see drown in 2007

britney spears and paris hilton mike moore bill o reilly tiesto brad pitt and jolie.... i hope thier plane crashes on the way back to the states. people who blame the US for everything bad and nothing good.

iran's president and chavez down in venezula, simply so i can stop seeing leaders fight like pissy little girls

whomever is in chage of MTV and VH1. im sorry, but scripted bullshit with teens who want to act, or deadbeat former TV stars, simply isnt reality. you want reality? go find a single father who is working 3 jobs becuase the HMO wouldnt cover the surgury to save his wife from a disease that might have been stopped with a little stem cell research that prevented Merc from making a few billion at our health's sake.

sasha. i said it. im tired of the ableton arguements and his shfts in style.

digweed. so i can stop saying to myself "man, i wish i could get tracks like this"

asdf_asshat. he is an imposter.(not dominic.)

and lastly, every rapper. all of them. they are killing society. if i could engineer a virus that only killed people who ruin great songs so that they can talk about guns and bling. yeah, i wouldnt mind seeing them go.

Re: My impressions of 2006 - happy 2007 to you all.

oh yeah, and the people who leave stupid hopes in response to political questions on the BBC site. like when asked "what is the solution for gaza and isreal?" and they reply " we need understanding and knowledge" no jackass, im sorry, we need more guns and less pussies in charge. and just today i saw someone respond to a question about somalia with "sincerety from all sides"..... i hit my head on my desk twice in case i was seeing shit. no dick, we need the islamist fighters to stop trying to impose thier rule on whomever gets in thier way, and to stop killing those who disagree.

im sorry, but these people need new eyes or a bullet in the head

Re: My impressions of 2006 - happy 2007 to you all.

Well said sightless, although can't see how 'more guns' can help anything really.

Good call on the reality thing - I can't remember the last time I turned on Music Tele Vision and actually saw a song being played.
