The local harmless pisshead from over the road's house is on fire & he's just been arrested for punching 2 Firemen which I know he shouldn't have done but they wouldn't let him in to rescue his ferret & his snake. He managed to get his 3 dogs out 2 Staff bull terriors & Bull Mastif then tried to go back in, what an animal lover.

Re: Unlucky Neighbour

Does a fireman have any right to stop someone from re-entering their house, on fire or not?

Re: Unlucky Neighbour

Awe :(

I can understand him not wanting to lose his pets, but I believe that I fireman has the right to stop you from putting yourself in harms way...as if something happens they put their life on the line to go back in after you

Re: Unlucky Neighbour

Hmmm, good point. I'd be interested in hearing what the actual law would be on the matter.

Re: Unlucky Neighbour

Sad loss for when you have that much love. Not sure about the legalites of the matter- running back into a burning house I could consider attempted suicide. I would have to further comptemplate to have an objective opinion.

Re: Unlucky Neighbour

Being an animal lover myself i would do the same thing. Not sure bout punching the fireman though as they are doing their job. But i guess i would run inside as fast as i could to resuce my loved ones. Maybe push the fireman aside or something :D

Re: Unlucky Neighbour

He lives in a block of flats and the poor woman who lives in the basement flat has lost everything as her ceiling collapsed with all the water. You wouldn't mund as much if it was your own pad on fire.

I do believe all the animals are ok though which is good.:)
