I reckon that (i) the guest mix didn't turn up, and (ii) John was in limbo because he's touring the States.

I was confused as he's payed Aura on a couple of shows .. but I cottoned on by the Dekay remix.

Still its saves me a minidisc.

So that mean this colours midnight mix set was broadcast first on kiss 100fm in april and in turn again in august... :!:

It's all making sense now; after listening to the august hour2 set & scratching my head saying I've heard this exact set before.

The 2nd hour is his kiss studio mix from April 11th (which was also aired as the Colors mix)...I am pretty sure they had technical problems as getting a guest mix is never a problem for John and he surely has guest mixes for several weeks in advance.

Maybe it was the same people that put commericals in the middle of diggers set. When he says his mixes are continous mixes. Don't understand why he aired an old mix from this yr but who cares. Two hrs of digweed is always good. The first hr of mix was great anyways. Digweed kiss mixes might be slippin but his live mix are still top notch.

please don't take offense, but I think folks may be taking the show for granted. there was a period when the show was off the air and the withdrawal pains were tough. also, I don't think JD wants to recreate the live experience with his show. he's just giving exposure to some of the tracks that he digs... some of the tracks he plays may make it into the first hour of a live set, but that's about it.

at any rate, please keep the show going.

Just so everyone doesn't wet their pants too much, this mix is the same as Part 1 on April 11, 2004. Kind of lame...I guess he's running out of guests. He should have just given us two new hours of studio mixing. :roll:

Personally, i didn't like part 1 at all. I think it was very boring compared to what John delivers most of the time. The 2nd part kinda elevated much more but i did feel a little disappointed by Kiss 100 this last weekend. Let's hope his guest list does'nt stay empty again next time. :?
