Re: the female dj's thread
not enough synth laden epic breakdowns for ya prog princess?
huh? you lost me completely. I listen to everything from house, trance, prog, electro, techno, to breaks. Having break downs has nothing to do with why I find her sets repetitive. I just find that it stays at the same level for the majority of her set and to me that is boring. I like a set that moves up, down, sideways.
Anyways, back on topic...

Since when has DJ Rap been from Los Angeles?
I couldn't care less for any of them tbh, without hearing all of them i can't name one female DJ who is really any good. DJ Rap for looks alone i guess. :p
Re: the female dj's thread
...Oh almost forgot Ariel Cybana, she's pretty hot too :p

Re: the female dj's thread
wow Scarlett Etienne is so hot.. I hope she's as good at the turntables
Re: the female dj's thread
there is only one Chloe. ;)
so true :)
she is one of my favorite's for sure, and not cause she is a female, cause she is a great DJ. i hate these "female DJ" threads. pop music is about the explotation of women, dance music should not. no one gives a fuck what diggers/holden/sasha looks like, it shouldnt be any different for women. and huge props to chloe for letting her music speak for her, not her image... big ups girl:D
edit -- not that chloe couldnt use her looks, i just know she chooses not to whore herself out
Re: the female dj's thread
her ego far outweighs her talent

agreed.....also how can you be taken seriously...Im sure the men there are coming to hear her play, not because they know that by reputation she shows up virtually naked
Re: the female dj's thread
tbf, nikki says she's a TOPLESS dj and gets booked on that basis. just like portia surreal, etc. its not as if they are trying to say they are awesome djs.
this thread is pathetic tho.
i love the guy who says, madga is the best, fuck the rest and who cares about what they look like then goes to say he thinks she's the cutest.
Re: the female dj's thread
this thread is pathetic tho.
care to explain why?
Re: the female dj's thread
mm na. wrong word. a bit sad. more focus on the beats, less focus on the looks would be awesome. if only it were the same for males.

Re: the female dj's thread
So far I would say Scarlett Etienne. Niki Belucci looks nice but I wonder how much she really spins... records.
With respect to talent, Chloé is my choice by far.

That is exactly why I'm wondering how 'topless DJ's' get into the same list as serious DJ's Chlo?...they're not in the same league IMO. But then again, that's just an opinion of course.
how long is the "longest time"??? :what
A few years - she was practically living there from around the time she collaborated with BT on a track for Movement In Still Life in 1998/1999.
