so we get there & notes everywhere saying due to flight delays danny may not play until after 2. we decide to proceed on anyways & the promoter dropped the price from 20 - 10 bones, which is very fair. The opener seemed to be digging deep into his bag as he played an extra 3 hrs he prolly didnt plan for. it seemed as if he was running out of stuff to play.

a few before 3 we were about to bounce & some commotion was stirring in the booth. then danny proceeded to take a few shots & dropped some deep dirty baseline driven tracks for about 40 mins or so, then into some more techy melodic type shit, then moved back into some techy tracks with some poingy type basslines. everyone was eating it up. since he showed up late, he was relentless in the assualt & plastered the place for about 1.75 hrs. seemed to be having a great time as always & was drinking quite a bit, but the bar was closed to the commoners.

and thats why, as an opener...you bring every damn track you can carry. never know when the main guy is not gonna be able to play.

i missed danny when he was here recently (had tickets to the chili peppers...), heard he was fantastic though. glad you had a good night

hell yeah. man i am upset i missed this one. dallas is getting all the good shit lately. to far to drive but almost worth the trip(for danny and diggers/chloe, of course). i think Sander is playing there this month. All well, gotta settle for Coxy in Oct. in NOLA(HELL YEAH).

Yeah it sucked that he was late, because some of the best Howells is towards the beginning of his sets imo, but when he did come on it was devistating. definitely techy, and the tracks were building forever.
I have to give props to the opening Dj . He kept the club together while Danny wasn't there. Good time though.

Hey Dallas people. I just came here to give you my sincere apologies about last night's VERY late appearance. My 2.50 flight out of Chicago was delayed for hours, then eventually cancelled due to bad weather (ie a spot of rain!) I was then put onto the 8pm flight, but that mofo was delayed until 11.20! So, I ended up being in Chicago airport for ten hours, bored out of my fooken head and not sure if I was even gonna make it to Dallas. But I did, and it was worth it completely. The short time I had in the club more than made up for all the airport crap, and I hope I can reschedule another gig soon where I can play a PROPER set! Thankyou for everyone who was still there when I showed up, and to everyone involved with the club for helping to make the best of a bad situation. Love y'all. Danny
