A buddy of mine has to take a drug test in the next week. He smoked 4-5 power hits of pot about 3 weeks ago but hasn't done anything before or after that. Should he be worried?

Erm yes, i think pot takes at least 3 weeks to get out of you`re system completley.

i think he'll be fine... ive always heard 2 weeks if you arent a heavy smoker, but if he took 4-5 big hits EVERY DAY before 3 weeks ago, that may be a different story. there are plenty of cleaners out there, but if he drinks lotso water, he should be okay

3 weeks was enough for me.. and i was smoking 24/7 for the mostpart... ya know.. wake up in the middle of the night and take a bong hit to go back to sleep.. he should be fine - just tell him to drink a lot of water.

vitamin b mate, or niacin.. but be careful with niacin. Load up on Vitiman b.. drink lots of water. one of my mates smoked the night before, took his B vits, and passed.

Don't go too crazy on the water (3-4 lts/day) there's a way to check if you've been trying to clean your body by taking lots of water (it hink it's the amount of creatinine in urine). If asked, tell them that you always drink that amount of water, because you train or something like that.

remember when you give you're urine sample to only give the middle part when you piss

when you pee it starts off with very dirty urine, the midle part is rather clean and the last part is dirty too. apparently it makes alot of difference

With a urine test he will be fine within a few days, while a blood test is closer to a month. I used to be subject to random testing from my employer and one day I got caught out there. I took a test 8 hrs after smoking. I drank loads of water and pissed several times before I got to the lab. This worked, and I passed with no questioning of my colorless piss. I've been tested 10 times usually a week or 2 after smoking and passed them all ( that also goes for all the other tokers in the company ) using this method. If he is worried have him pick up a detox drink. Here in NY you can get them at your local head shop, don't know if you have them in Chicago.

just hope it isnt a hair sample test :shock::cry:

Make sure you drink cranberry juice and orange juice and also water and make sure to stay away from soda's..

Anything with vitiam (c) will release the THC out of your body.

few factors ... how long smoking, body size, weight, diet, and metabolism.

there are many tricks out there, and not one is really 100%. Some claim perfection, will others claim failure. Though, the system cleaning does help. From vitamins, to a lot of water and juice, etc. Another thing that I noticed that was not on the list ... working out. A yes, since good old marijane stays in your fat ... why not burn it off. durr. :x

Some companies are quite excessive in this manner. A few years back, my wife got a job as a clerk at some hotel. The corporate policy was that every new hire had to do a hair test, regardless of the position. Fortunately, her manager at the time was super cool, and told her she could push the test back as long as needed. :) She went out and got some of that "special" shampoo at a head shop a couple weeks later, and passed it with no problems.

You'd think. A while back I took a PT job for some extra money at Sports Authority. And they took a hair sample for a drug test. I was very very surprised.

My neighbor just received his citizenship looking to work and smoked some krypt , worried , he had his girlfriends son piss for him not knowing adderall was an amphetamine -failed the whiz quiz as a 12 yr old w/ adhd. Needless to say he couldn't produce a prescription so go figure , kinda fucked for him I guess.

As what someone said here, drink cranberry juice but also take vitamin b12 (for color). I hope the job is worth going through this. :)

i'am a heavysmoker and have never had a prolem he will be fine since he does not smoke just tell him not to smoke anymore till after the test :Blazed:

Believe it or not Seaworld does hair tests. They look at it up to three months. Luckily, if you're a guy you can at least shave your head or cut it really short. Even though they can look farther past 90 days, they (Sea world) have some sort of a rule where they only look 3 months back. I know this because my roommate works there. They also do random urine tests. Good luck and hopefully it'll be a urine test!

I did a lot, I mean a lot of research on this subject because of where I work. Drink water before hand and he will be fine. I assure you. Unless, he's monumentally overweight. Average weight and he'll be more than fine

I'll do some of my own research re. the hair tests, and ways around them (beside mentioned above) - will get back to ya! 8)

It turns out he can delay the test until next week. So, it's going to be about 5 weeks after he last smoked. He's a relatively skinney guy that works out so I think he should be ok.

Does it make sense to get a hair cut right before just in case? The hair test is the top concern now.

Got a few bits on the hair test: does not look good for those who wanna detox :(

There is a Shake that U buy at GNC, that it's formula is designed for u to pass the test. Might call "clean test" can't recall... U drink it hours b4 the urine test and what it does is to retain the THC (and other substances) in your organism, so when u piss the substances won't come out. But u can combine all previous tips with this one if you're Cheech n Chong! (sauna vapour is good too!) . Now if it is a blod test... :Anal: u focked

when he must give some piss of his self, hi should drink, 1 houre before the test, 1 dl apple-vinegar with some liters of water..! (the result will be negative)

i had last year the same problem and was for one weeck in amsterdam. after this weeck i also must go to give some nice nurs my piss. i drunk the viniger befor and never heard anything again from the "police" !!

i think they can only tell if your piss is diluted the day of.. im not sure if they can tell several days out..
