Some time ago, I asked Jonatan aka Kintar from Kintar and Rex if they would be interested in making an exclusive mix for Mercuryserver because I love their unique sound both production and DJ wise. Last week, Jonatan got back to me and here we go. The DJ/Producer duo from Argentina made a fantastic two hours mix for the Mercuryserver community which we offer this week for download and I hope you will like it. Their sets are always like journeys for me and take me away from reality without a need to use drugs for the travel.
Moshic said once in an interview that he likes to produce and play a "cinematic sound" and Kintar and Rex definately do this for me as their sets have this kind of flow and spheric dark sound which releases my mind, makes me forget about anything else and takes me away. Listening to sets like this one reminds me why I am a Music Junkie and why my heart belongs to EDM and especially to the Music scene in Argentina. If you like your progressive music dark but still harmonic and epic without the cheese factor, grab this mix and play it either loud or through Headphones for full impact. [I]Jonatan Tesei was born the 26 January of 1983 at Buenos Aires.[/I] [I]Since his beginnings Jonatan searched for the evolution of his sound, we could say that in all of his different projects (Kintar- Jonatan Tesei- Deeploee – Soa Project and Rekin ) we can find a variety of styles and influences (Progressive - Trance - House - Tribal - Techno - Psycodelic - Ambient ) always preserving the mystic, ethnic and dark essence.[/I] [I]For Jonatan the music is his way of communicating and expressing himself with his inner self.[/I]
[I]Sebastián Pazos / r E x was born the 31 December of 1981 at Buenos Aires. He started in electronic music back in 1995, influenced by rock, pop, funk, disco, bossa nova, soul, acid jazz. He heard from drum & bass/jungle to minimal & acid house, techno (Detroit) & House (Chicago y San Francisco) having the opportunity to hear the most influential people in those styles. In the ending of 1998 and beginnings of 1999, progressive arrives to Buenos Aires and its there when Sebastian starts defining his sound and gets serious with djing playing for friends.[/I]
[I]In 2004 Jonatan and Sebastian unify to give shape to this duet. They started making music as Deeploee and got together with David García and created SOA Project giving, this way, birth to Sudam Recordings, a net label that specializes in progressive sounds and that will have a Rooster with artist from all over the world.[/I]
