@TomTom: good question... She didn't tell her parents since that would cause a lot of shit again (you know why). Her mother seems to be coming around very slowly, but I don't know how and when she's gonna break the news at home. If she's gonna in the first place that is. The crisis in June has done much damage to her respect for her parents. Even to the extent that she hardly talks to her dad anymore since then. To be continued... :|

The good news is that we're gaining support within the family: I've talked to one of her cousins on MSN yesterday for instance and even though he's a hardliner when it comes to being Albanian and muslim, he's supporting us. Her sister was pretty positive about it, but focussed on "what are our parents going to say about that?" I guess she was a bit ticked off because her ring doesn't have a diamond (she got engaged a few months ago). Women, you know? :roll:;)

@Jibs: here it's custom to wear it on the right hand and move it to the left when you replace it with the next level ring ;)

Somehow I knew you would say that she didn't tell her parents already...sorry to hear it still though. I hoped to make it kinda "legal" and serious would maybe change the situation. I respect traditions and think some are good, some are bad but from my european view, what should count most to parents is that their kids are healthy and lucky. It is so hard to find "the one" in your Life and normally parents should be glad if her daughter/son wants to marry and has found somebody. Seeing that loving a "foreigner" leeds to a worse relationship between a daughter and her dad ist just sad.

^^^ hahahaha, not that I know of, no. We're still in the phase of the test drilling campaign (damn, I work too much). We did have a little word about it, but nothing too serious. Erzina's conclusion was that if she gives birth to an ugly kid, we'll sell it to the zoo as animal chow :shock: I love the way her mind works :lol:

@ Kinetic: yeah, I hear ya. I just went on quite impulsively, but when it feels right, it feels right. I must say that I had a moment of "hmmm, now what exactly did I get myself into again?" this week, but the answer "the craziest chick I've ever met" popped up immedeatly, so no worries :)
