Looked for a topic but nothing came up.

All I gotta say is these guys did a pretty damn good job. It's still in "beta" but I really like what I see. The whole place is different. So far everthing is working pretty good.

Anyone take a gander at it yet?

yea they finally fixed the bugs of them deleting my card constantly, so I'm happy. If they had just done that fix only it would be worth the update.

Also, the search is a little nicer. They have a lot of artist pictures which I could care less about though which slows my searches down slightly...

But overall a worthy update. Good job for them.

Yeah, but they now have prices in Euros and from what I see, I´m gonna start paying almost double of what I did before.

And I agree, I could give 2 craps about all thos little pictures, I´d rather have more results per page.

Oh, and I also dislike the fact that I can´t see the track length in the little player, as we used to be able to.

you can choose to just search by a list of tracks without the pic tiles.

..... well, i just purchased some tracks there and all but 1 got the "alert. error. the file you requested was not found contact support..." popup. not a good start imo.... emailing support now.

the prices are higher in the UK whch doesnt make sense.. but little mike also said they are working to update the trakc length feature <<< which i agree is one that they need to sort out.

still dont like the fact the player can only have one track in it at a time.. i like audio jelly's or magnetic grooves

no I meant when I search for an artist and click on.. say .. booka shade, I see a picture of them instead of it just taking me straight to a list of their tracks. (I think it's a they).

I finally took a look at the site yesterday, and I have to say i really dig it. I like how when you search for a producer up comes a nice photo of said producer and a list of recent tracks. Pretty sweet stuff.

It's now been 24. yep, nothing like buying tracks to play out on friday and saturday and still not be able to download them 2 days later.... i know it's a "beta" version but come on now. begs the question that if this happened to me how many others are affected? how many songs are there that can't be downloaded? i wasn't pissed at first but i'm rapidly getting there.

Exactly. This makes absolutely no sense.

They already had a "beta" version of the 3.0 store running as the new DJmag download store, what harm would it to do to keep it as it was for a little while longer? :roll:

For me, the perfect example of how to beta-test anything is the way Ableton do it. For Live 6, they started with a very restricted alpha-circle, then they went public, with a 500-user limit, and they?ll slowly increase the beta-test circle as they feel it?s ready for more people to test.

Ok. I just tried to purchase a tune and the same thing happened. Error. Can't find file. Please contact beatport support. Sheesh.

100% agree.

The sad part is that the time for more tune shopping for my next promo is coming, and I guess this time I?ll have to go to somewhere else...I?m not really in the mood to spend money and then waste 3 days trading e-mails with beatport?s support and not getting any music in the process.

I actually found a very recent one that kinda looks like Beatport : [URL="http://www.groovegate.com"]www.groovegate.com[/URL]. Haven?t browsed much, but it looks good.

good stuff so far...I like the new "my ...." section where you can add your favorite artists, etc...good for when you come across an unknown you dig. Seems to load smoother at least for me.

I don't think my crate will ever empty though..200+ tracks on queue and counting (add if I like it, then go back later and do instant charge to download the ones I want at a particular time)

yeah, so far everything is loading pretty good. I stay logged on and I dont get timed out. Haven't tried purchasing anything yet, as I see some or one is having problems with that.

I really like that they finally placed the Genre under the Label's name.

I'll be sure everything is 100% before I purchase what's in my crate.
