when i first started listening to true edm back in 1998, i did not like them at all...i was hooked on that cheesy trance oakenfold(though he was brilliant through 99), tiesto, avb, etc played...then i woke up and realized that there is much better music out there and that trance is good for getting people into the scene..enough about that....these guys are my fav dj's by far now and have been for years...both always push the envelope and create new genres...i hear tracks on kiss100 that become big a year later, then every other wannabe dj jumps on the bandwagon...the genre and type played on kiss 100 also becomes popular many months later... digweed is far superior to any other dj in terms of mixing, track selection, and structuring a set...sasha has lost it a little in my book but is still my #2 he sometimes gets into a rut and takes a while to actually get going...the 2 of them 2gether play absolutely beautiful music...like one died and went to heaven...i can write a book about them, but that's my 2 cents cheers

I Love Sasha - because of Gu9 and GU 13, which are amazing, especially GU9 which will never be beaten in my lifetime I'm certain.

I Love Digweed - lots of great Kiss shows, particularly the early ones and GU 14 which is stellar. Also his productions with nick Muir are brilliant too.

And finally, I Love Sasha & Digweed simply because of Northern Exposure Vol 1, which like the roaches so beloved by the trancetters, will never die......................

It's weird I have seen them both together and seperately, digweed more recently. Somehow the two dj's seem develop their own musical threads as soloists but unite in tandem to create more a a musical journey at 6+ hours type of sets. New Year's in LA should be pretty interesting. Hopefully, they will play a few other dates as the only act where they can play till 9 or 10 am.

Digweed, because no one comes close to having the same ear for music and putting it together in a way that fucks you up so royally. He shuts my brain down and rewires it because all music sounds crap within a week of having caught him live.

Sasha is hit or miss for me, more misses these days.

But their GUs and Northern Exposure 1 & 2 :shock: :RightOn: :CandyPop: :Rasta Ba: :LoveYou: They'll never leave my ipod.

Well, I have never caught Sasha ever. Digweed is a 100% certainty from me. I dont know what it is, but I always end up saying " uhhh naah" to Sasha whenever he's in town.

I used to download plenty of Sasha sets back in '99 - '01 but at the same time Digweed just took over the spot over in my favorites folder in my head. And that folder hasnt been deleted as of yet.

I think back then Digweed was more deep on Prog and the sounds that he layed out over where far better.

But both together, never did catch that. Im sure I missed out bigtime.

At the risk of sounding like a pussy, I usually end up saying 'uhh naah' to Sasha these days too because if nothing else his gigs are just too damn busy! Plus im sure half the people there are only there coz its Sasha and have no real idea about the music they are hearing..
