Im at 13 minutes in so far and seems pretty good. The crowd noise doesnt bother at all. You almost cant hear it.

I hate to say it but overall this mix is cack, the first 25 minutes are fucking excellent, proper Sasha stuff, but after that it just becomes shite, fucking abysmal, really disappointed at this. Same as that promo set he did for Tel Aviv 102fm a while back, comatose! Really needs to sort it out imo. :x

i thought the 2 hours work out to be something of a nice warm up to a far better peak time set thats coming up ... if thats true ... its decent for a 2 hour opener

So, how much are you paying for this CD? Also, what is your guy's opinions on this format? I am pretty good friends of a guy who's working for Clearchannel that is doing these live CD sales. He mentioned very huge presales and that it will be more and more standard in the future.

i am hearing some dips and dives with the volume. it'd be nice to have the set mastered on site prior to handing the discs out, but its not a perfect world. and not to complain about it, but that few seconds of silence in the beggining of cd 2 should not be handed out on cd's that people are buying. so again i come back to the 'on site' mastering.

just my two-fifths of a nickle. :not me:

i dont think you can ask for more in terms of mastering when its recorded and pressed on the fly .. unless they do something like take down the details of everyone is there that night and send them a copy a few days after just to get it master proper

i agree 100%. it definately aint a peak time mix thats for sure, but i like what im hearing... as far as the silence in disc 2... aint that big of a deal to me.

i preordered it, and will probably leave it in the plastic wrap and chuck it away with the other collectible cds i have

Well for ?17- I'd expect better. You only need to hear some of the 100s of recorded mixes available to know it should have been of higher quality, especially when planned well in advance.

thats what depeche mode is doing in his live concerts, you pre order your "original copy" of the live set youre about to witness, 30 days later they send you this original copy...
