pretty scary considering it could ahppen at any moment... i wonder why they are all of a sudden making a big deal about it. it has been obvious for a while.

ahh, cali will be there for many more eons to come. I wouldn't worry about it too much, the earth is constantly changing. you never REALLY know what it is going to do.

they keep saying that about the new madrid fault too, which sadly is going to make the san andreas sound like a fart. :(

Yeah, lucky me I live along the New Madrid. :)

From what I understand, the damage will be much worse than quakes in Cali because of the soil composition here. It's supposed to cause the earth roll in waves rather than shaking from side to side like in Cali which will cause much more damage. Oh, and none of our infrastructure is designed to withstand an earthquake, so... hopefully it won't happen in our lifetimes because it's going to be a major major catastrophe when it finally hits.

Well, nevertheless; earthquakes are fucking scary. So much power to move everything in site. Everthing seems so fragile and hollow.

I prefer Pickle's area rather than an unexpected; im taking a shit atm earthquake. :x
