listen i love feeding stereotypes and blah blah blah... whatever. but as mike poto once wonderfully stated,, crobar hass a serious problem with stereotypical ""cracked out asain"". and this coming from me, one of my closest friends is carmen, some of you know her fairly well..... whatever,,

so as chloe was wrapping up her set, which was FUCKING INSANE> this asain guy and his girl come up to the front and just start dancing literally on top of me, i pushed him back away and said watch out asshole. needless to say i endured about 3e0 minutes more of this until my temper got the best of me... and i wasnt drunk in the slightest, 3 beers with and right after dinner. he bumps into me hardcore, and i got knocked back a step and he pretends it didnt happen... well i kinda just lost it. and lost it in front of a bouncer. i yell at him "hey asshole" and as he turns around with this stupid look like "what the fuck does this guy want"" i just threw and uppercut to his chin, push him back and go for another and the bouncer grabs me and here i am an hour later sitting home....

im asian as well but i swear it doesnt matter whether its asian or caucasian or blacks or whatever race they are .. some people just need to learn how to behave in clubs and not have fun at the expense of others ... i swear there are number of times just 'cos i was pissed off at pedestrians on the dancefloor ... if your're on the dancefloor, dance for fuck's sake and not just take it like a walk in the park and keep shoving people just 'cos you wanna make your way through to the other side .. imo those are just equally annoying

What a bummer - ( though it sounds like you need to go on an anger managament course !). Maybe clubs should start having distinct sections - arseholes that want to dance like twats and get in other peoples way/spoil other peoples nights in the one part, and a decent section (i.e. with good bar access/sanitation and a bit of space) for the people that are there for the music and to enjoy themselves in an (reasonably) orderly manner.

That does suck getting thrown out. My only suggestion would have been to walk away, but I do understand getting pissed off because why should you have to be the person to walk away. But, your story hits a note with me.

I was in LA for Sasha a couple of years ago at Avalon and I had a problem with Asians on Ecstasy treating the dance floor like a mosh pit like someone said. This one Asian girl with a group of friends kept running into people including me and nobody did anything to stop her. She was essentially bullying people. I don't even put up with that shit at metal shows when I was younger much less some 100 lb female at Sasha. Anyways, when she went to run into me again, I braced myself and knocked her ass right into their circle. She lept up at me like she was going to attack me and I told her what the fuck are you going to do? I scared them all off and walked away in case they jumped me when I wasn't looking.

So fuck you assholes on the dance floor that show no respect to people who actually like or even know the DJ that's playing. Its obvious that most of those fuckers could care less if Digweed or Bad Boy Bill plays. They only want to do their drugs and act like assholes.

Seems like clubbings a bit different in the US, I've never spotted any all out moshing over here. The constant pushing past always irks me - especially when you've got a good spec. I nearly got into a brawl at Pacha last year (coincidently also a Diggers show) when some idiot wanted to push past in front of me when there was bags of room at the back and up to the bar behind. I just stood my ground, gave him a menacing look, & told him to fuck off and use the common sense route rather than annoying all the clubbers !

Simon as far as what happened to Sean it happens here all too often... These people get all too fooked up and literally bowl you over all night long. I've come close to beating the crap out of them, but my wife always stops me.

Nothing that bad happens here in the Uk but the constant pushing past is ridiculous. I was at Turnmills last week and all you get is twats trying to get past you. Luckily i'm 6'5'' so they tend to not try it with me but it's still a piss take

I can't stand that place at all. I was soo tempted to go, happily i decided to skip out on it. It sucks cause they get a lot of good names for their $$ and i guess it gives djs a big area in the back for their friends.

we deal with this at the guvernement complex in toronto as well. for headliner dj's they sell way too many tickets so the place is packed to the brim and there will be groups of about 20 asain people all super super fucked up and dancing out of control. it's a pain in the ass when you drive 2 hours to see one of your favorite dj's play. on a funnier note last year when i was leaving the sasha/lawler night i saw two asian "gangs get into a fight, and the one little dude fucking karate kicked this other guy and sent him flying across tyhe room. funniest shit ever, the bouncers were dying trying to break it up.

it all sucks, but if you agresively fight back, you are almost as same as he is.... you wont do any much if you hit him, at least not if he is still standing after the first punch... but next week he is going to be exactly the same, or even worse... i have newer been in a fight, just becouse i try to talk things out first, and if that doesnt work, you leave him be...

havent before all plp talked about crobar to be a good club?? and now it isnt so good, becouse there is a bunch of dorks in it?[/quote] it doesn't have great sound it doesn't have any lighting it promotes to rich snobs (most of the time) that want to go to the "hip" place in town. there arn't many non-vip places to hang out and relax the floor most of the time is unbearable cause it constantly over sells most of the time the lines are 30-45 mins+ expensive drinks, bartenders all have their own prices (sometimes water is even 10+) bathrooms flood ...

reminds me of when i saw deep dish at soundbar in chicago about a year ago. man, i tell ya, it's been my experience that people in chicago are just rude as a whole. the place was absolutely slammed and people were just SO rude... there was no trying to slide by without causing too much disruption to the people on the dancefloor... it was just all out slamming into people, with no regard for anyone else but themselves. me and the group of people i was with, just got fed up at one point and started doing it back. the kicker was when one of my buddies was leaning up against a wall, and someone tried barging their way between him and the wall... fucking rediculous. thankfully we ran into some friends and were able to escape to vip... cuz we just couldn't take it any longer!
