I hate Crobar NYC. There is nowhere to sit unless you want to hear hip hop or spend $2000 on bottles. It gets uber crowded and is beginning to bring in the guidos (chavs). Last week at Sasha some dumbass got on the stage in front of the DJ booth not once, not twice, but three times. Then he looked surprised when security kicked his ass out.
Thinking of not going to Diggers just b/c it's at Crobar. What do the Digweed faithful think?

i travel all they way from mexico to nyc just to see sasha and digweed @ crobar.... youre right, the dancefloor is quite unconfortable... but i think i would go every day again to see them live... its just i cant go every time they play... so you MUST go IMO.

Thats the second not so good thing Ive heard for the closing fundacion party, although you did not give a review of the mans set. I feel the same way about Crobar in the last year. Feels like a meat packing wharehouse. When i saw S&D together two years ago there, I was literally crawling over people to get around the club. Should there have been a fire or something, I would probably be dead.
About Diggers, every review Ive heard about his Transitions tours sounds foching killer. Im debating making the three hour drive to come down for it.

For Sasha they did not open the terrace unless you bought a bottle, even late into the night. By the bar in the back was horrible b/c everyone is moving back & forth there (or trying to move). Crobar is the uber ghey.

Wanni, you should def. go. Digweed oulls a crwod but nothing like Sasha does for some weird reason. I went to go see him a couple of time when hewas by himself and it was great. Decent crwod and no NYC fist pumping goombas.

nation closed at 430ish for lawler, but digweed should let chloe harris warm the room for a few hours and hit and decks about 230 300am. play till 7am. please john...

It seems the last few times i went in the city I ended up at Crobar... I am kinda bored with the place itself but it is Digweed and he has been getting great reviews as of late. So I am so looking foward to tonight

I always wanted to catch Sasha or JD in NYC - so I can't see what all the moaning is for. ALL clubs usually quiten down & reach equalibrium a few hours into headline sets anyway. Go, hear JD, and fuckin well enjoy !

GO... I hate the staff there! When I went earlier in the year I tried to get a drink @ 6AM and the bartending bitch yelled at me and was being derogatory in front of her boyfriend that happened to be visiting while she was supposed to be working. Needless to say, it made me angry, but no chav or c.unts are worth missing Diggers. You're right about not having anywhere to sit, it blows.
