Red Flag Collective breaks its silence on its vinyl catalogue with two deep yet very unique cuts that guarantee such impact on dance floors. Argentinian Leandro Pugliese aka Lega , Andres Cocciarini and Hernan Gonzales form ‘Hawaii’ - a trio that the industry has been hearing a lot about recently from tracks that took place on various dj sets and compilations. ‘Setting Up’ is a perfect ‘moment’ track with its mature-feel bass-line, lush stabs, and an ever-building synthetic riff with adequate amount of effects for the right adrenaline lift. ‘Plastique Vision’ is Leandro on his own and ‘Barely Away (Shine Mix)’ is a perfect showcase for his powerful, solid production skills. The track's driving atmospherics, subtle melodic grooves and steely beats make this a rather inevitable selection for RFC joint.

IDJ MAG REVIEW The latest offering from Red Flag comes from Hawaii (Leandro Pugliese AKA Lega, Andres Cocciarini and Hernan Gonzales from Argentina). 'Setting Up' is deep prog at its best with a mesmerising lead riff, making it perfect warm-up material. Plastique Vision's (Pugliese on his own) 'Barely Away' is a more driving effort drenched in his trademark melodies and soundscapes. A classy double-header from some very hot producers.

Re: Red Flag Collective pres. Hawaii / Plastique Vision - RFC005

Hernán Gonzalez (a.k.a Waltie, one third of Hawaii along with Lega/Plastique Vision and Maxine Vegas) is not Mexican. He is Argentian as well.

Setting Up has bombed many floors across the world so far and is a massive prog nugget. It tears the dancefloor apart, as I myself have witnessed many times.

Hurray for the Hawaii boys and their excellent production skills...
