Much different set from his last visit in January. He started off very aggressive (some laser sounds in the 2nd track) and then proceeded to destroy the floor for the next 2 hours. I was very happy with what I heard: badass progressive house from John Motherfucking Digweed.

Digweed laid waste to SF last night. To be honest, a lot of the recent KISS mixes have left me dissappointed, so I didn't know what to expect. However, after 3 or 4 tracks, I knew the night was going to be special. I probably recognized 5 or 6 tracks.
There were very few uninteresting tracks played all night. It was four solid hours of devastation.
This was one of the best shows I've heard from digweed in a long long time. If only there a recording...

He hasn't lost his touch, but I hated some of the stuff he played @ The Mayan. He did play hard dark music, and for all intents and purposes tore the Mayan a new one for 4 hours.:D

The last time I heard Digweed live before Firday night at Ruby Skye was during the Delta Heavy days. I have to agree he was rocking the place. I especially enjoyed the 3-4 am hours when he kicked it up a bit. That last hour reminded me of the Delta Heavy days.

Sounds good - I'm hoping to catch him in Ibiza if flights/costs etc. work out : Diggers was excellent @ Renaissance (Pacha) last year, and for some reason seldom plays the UK any more. Given the scarcity of S & D appearances over here I may need to emigrate !

The Mayan show last Thursday was awsome. Kazell did a pretty decent job warming up.. a few peaks and valleys that kinda didnt go, but overall did a nice job.
Digweed as always, very meticulous when approaching the controls, checking every knob and frequency with someone's little flashlight, just getting prepared to hit that deep bass.
Kazells last track came to a complete stop, the crowd ready for action applauding Digweed as he stepped up to the plate and all I remember was this deep rolling thundering bass line and now Im back here Monday morning 3 days after whishing I had flown up to SF for some more... :x
