I have a friend that recently moved to San Diego. She has no idea where the cool places to hang out are, or does she know anybody to hang out with.

Before you ask:

Yes, she's hot. Yes, she has a boyfriend Yes, she's extra cool (she's one of the powerpuff girls in my posse!) Yes, she likes house music (and breaks, and some trance -- not thrilled with the Dnb, though)

I want to fly out and visit her, but we need cool things to do when I go!

Thanks in advance for your help!

Re: san diego?

She and I have discussed meeting there. But is there stuff there to do that's a weekly or monthly thing? Something where the locals get together?

I guess, I'm just so used to my small-town scene these days.

Re: san diego?

the only place I know of is the gas lamp district... or something. I went about a month ago to see my friend graduate, spent the weekend there. I was pretty stoned and drunk so I dont remember where we went or how to get to anyplace we ended up.

Go to Petco Park, when they have a home game. TJ is also a hop skip and a jump

Re: san diego?

That's awesome. I know for sure the love thing will catch her eye -- she said most things there close really early (1ish) -- we have 2 types of clubs here the regular bar that closes at 3 (stops serving at 2:30) and a 'bottle club' where you bring your own that say open til 5.

Thanks a bunch!

Re: san diego?

We have Diggers here this weekend. Lawler next and Danny Howells at the end of the month. The club which brings in the most talent is 4 & B on Fridays. On Broadway and Belo bring people in too.

All bars stop serving @ 2:00 am.

Let me know when you plan on visiting.

Re: san diego?

That's pretty much the problem you run into down there. San Diego is a great area to do stuff during the day and early evening but for some reason those people down there love to sleep so there aren't always many things going into the late evening/early morning hours. That's the great thing about LA. Sleep sucks.
