Are there any monster.com sites catered to British and/or European jobs? My wife and I have been talking recently about relocating overseas so the next obvious step is to land a job. Also, are there any sites that gear themselves more toward Americans landing jobs in other countries?

Joe, be careful. call the florida dept of education and see if you have to retain a few years for ur liscence. if not, you may lose it in the US, at least us accountants and lawyers have to stay with it for 3 years or we lose it.
Joe, be careful. call the florida dept of education and see if you have to retain a few years for ur liscence.
Actually my wife's the teacher, I work in accounting/auditing at the moment for a builder services company. She's looked into it and she can teach at an American school overseas with no problems. The only thing she's got to do is get her national certification which won't be a problem.

Mr. Big, we're quite familiar with the weather over there. It's more of a thing we'd like to do before we settle down and have children and it's been a lifelong dream for both of us. My wife studied Shakespeare in London and lived there for a bit. Really not an issue for either one of us tbh.

And thanks for the google tip beanz. I hadn't heard of that site before, it looks like a plethora of information. :Bingo: Actually I just wanted to see if people had good experiences with any sites in particular.

Re: UK/Europe Job Sites

Nice one KJ. Thanks for that tip! I have a BS in Finance and am planning to head back for my MBA in the fall, but that may change depending on this situation. Wouldn't mind attending a school overseas!
not ur wife silly boy. dont you have the CFA liscence?
No, not yet. But why would I need to contact the FLDOE for that?

Re: UK/Europe Job Sites

the state departments of education issue the liscences. at least for CPA and EA (efficiency analysts). i think the Bar assoc's are also under thier supervision. we cant have ppl like beanz becoming a lawyer.

Re: UK/Europe Job Sites

Fair enough Ska and to be honest U both seem to have jobs that would let u intergrate very well. If u dont mind the shitty weather like i said then u prob should do so, As suggested monter.co.uk isnt bad at all.

Re: UK/Europe Job Sites

The shitty weather is mostly situated in the 51st state (UK) and their little playground a bit more to the west. We're gonna hit 35°C this weekend in Belgium. BRING ON THE KEGS OF STELLA!!!
