Re:: FLORIDA FACES TWO BIG STORMS

I'm on the 3rd floor in evacuation zone B in Hilsboro county. So I will be either not be here or doing back flips off of my balcony into the river that is my street. There is a sort of retention pond near my building. I wonder if I can make it that far, lol.

#238395Post 4 of 90

You're right about that one.

Last year there wasn't a damn thing. Now this year we get 2 from both directions. I've heard reports that one of them's eye is supposed to come like 60 miles away from Jacksonville. So if you see all the carnage on TV you might be looking at my house.

I'll keep my eyes open

Yeah, Charley looks more of a threat to us at this time. Bonnie I dont think will have the chance to get that strong.. but who knows, she might hang about in the Gulf for a while... The waiting game, gotta love it :D

#238784Post 20 of 90

Is it Winter yet

#238803Post 21 of 90

I grew up in North Palm Beach and saw Andrew approach to the south and it was a WALL of PITCH BLACK. Very scary. Lucky it missed us. My parents live in Tampa, so they might catch some shit. I hope they weaken. We do kneed the rain.

#238846Post 22 of 90

they are talking about mandatory evacuations already in pinellas county, and some parts of the west coast of fla have already been evacuated. 10-15 ft storm surges

#238860Post 23 of 90

I'm happy that I just moved to Orlando...even though we'll be getting some rain, that's not nearly as bad as living in Tampa still. I was fortunate enough to not be in Tampa during the last hurricane...although we did get out of school! Good luck unome (and when they say evacuate, you really need to if you're in that area)!!!

I agree there... strays, or just animals left outside by ignorant peopla and the homeless. MY stuff can be replaced.. material things.

But, just got home, got two cases of beer, some food, and food for my animals, and some water. SORTED.. BRING IT ON!

Re:: FLORIDA FACES TWO BIG STORMS

Probably not on the scale you guys are going to have it but today it rained like never before where i live. My bosss office is currently under 2inch of water and weve lost thousands of pounds of stock. Roads are blocked due to flooding and there`s traffic jams everywhere. We are just crap at coping with the slightest of extreme weather conditions.

#239436Post 28 of 90

Shit it got a whole lot more powerful very quickly. Cat 4 with top sustained winds at 145 mph. Shit just this morning it was 110-115.

Hopefully I don't lose power cause I just rented a bunch of movies, can try and reclaim the asteroids title, and a whole lotta beer and vodka. No chronic though  yet!!!!

#239442Post 29 of 90

Shit. Just lost the satellite good thing I went to blockbuster. There just was a tornado here in Ocoee.

#239445Post 30 of 90

Re:: FLORIDA FACES TWO BIG STORMS

It's pandemonium everywhere!!! Traffic sucks. Tornadoes touching down. Video store is out of Jenna Jameson movies.

#239538Post 36 of 90

It's going straight through Polk County (where my family is) and coming straight towards us in Orlando. It's kinda scary b/c they're predicting 110mph winds...and that's inland. I just hope that my family is safe. They will be hit much harder than me...plus I'm on the second floor of a three story building (no flooding or roof tearoffs for me)!

#239541Post 37 of 90

I know and I just put my house on the market on Friday. shiiiitteee

#239574Post 38 of 90

Ok Unome we get the point! :D:D:D:D:D

#239578Post 39 of 90

I guess we'll get it worse in Orlando than in Tampa is what they are saying.

#239579Post 40 of 90

^^ sorry I was having issues with some error message, lol

I hope everyone in Orlando is ready, looks like it might be heading that way. I feel bad for all the people that left Tampa for the Orlando area.
