Re: Ultimate Ears headphones...

i actually read a lot of comparisons between the ultimate ears ones and the Shure ones. The thing is, the ultimate ears are going pretty cheaply on ebay. Not the price in the article above

I've been looking at the EB version of the UE for a while now - really want to hear them. I own the e3c's, and while they sound excellent generally, you just can't get the bass out of them unless you use the foam eartips - then they're great, and perfect for flying. BUT it's a bit of a pain in the arse putting them in and taking them out all the time.

Re: Ultimate Ears headphones...

eventually bought the Pro's from headphonesolutions.com in the states. Gotta love that exchange rate, better than buying stuff from eastern europe at the moment

Re: Ultimate Ears headphones...

Why using such earphones? What's the advantage? I rather use regular headphones.

How much were they? And what about getting hit for the import duty when they come into the country?

Re: Ultimate Ears headphones...

Those are pretty cheap so I'd question just how good they really are. Not a bad deal at all for some decent, mid-range buds.

Re: Ultimate Ears headphones...

I just bought a set of some cheap ass Philips ear buds and they actually sound pretty good. I was considering in buying the top end Shure's, but decided not to because after all, they're just earbuds. I'd rather put my money in some studio headsets or some uncut pure 100% columbian cocaine.
