hmmm, its a tough one. i like masiellos very much, BUT it sounded like he threw records together, not really a cohesive set imo. i think the only thing that saves him is the awesome tracks that he picked. so after that longer than necessary critique im going with:

1.anthony pappa (continually gets heavy replay) 2.holden 3.masiello 4.fortier, and i really like this one too!

Pappa but only because both discs are quality. Holden's Cd1 is awesome but Cd2 is garbage

It is a toss up between the desyn masiello one & james holden's balance cd. The whole series is great. I really kasey taylor's balance cd as well. I have not heard paolo mojo's mix yet. I am stil waiting for it in the mail. I should get it this week though. The only balance cd that is just alright is anothony pappa's. I never really listen to that at all. I thought pappa could have done a better job in his track selection.

i bought the pappa one but i have to say i was rather drunk when i did, listening to it sober was a different story even though it was a well thought out set and also i cant comment on the masiello one as i havnt heard it.

Yeah Phil K's balance has some highlights. The mix from kickflip manual into sealers cove - man that has to be the best mix on a cd anywhere! He keeps them together for about 5 minutes, and they're both tunes as well!

This is a tuff one cause balance has really been on the ball. My top 3 would be

1. CHRIS FORTIER. Always go back to this. The tracks are fookin awsome. It just build and builds. I would love to hear this on a big sound system :RockOn:

2. Desyn Massiello. When i first heard this cd i though it's ok. Then i gave it a few more goes and now Love it. That flowers track by Babak Shayan is :shock:.

3. Well this is a toss up between James holden and Pappa. When i first bought pappa's i loved it same with Holden's. But otta the 2 i would have to go for Holden's. I give this a bit more play than Pappa's so that would be my third. But Anthony's is good as well.

I have paolo Mojo's and it for some reason is not doing it for me. I mean i have given it few goes and i am hoping it will have the same effect as the desyn one to me but i don't know. I mean there are some good tunes on there but then there is some stuff that i did not like which runied the flow for me. Anyone else feel this bou the cd??

Holden without a doubt, although I've listened to it far more than any of the others. I'm sure Desyn's will move up the ranks quickly though.
