just talked with my boss. they want me to fly out to schenectady again, but this time for a week. I told her I wanted to have a weekend to myself in NYC and she said that was fine. They're covering all expenses until it becomes personal, so I'll just need to cover the car rental for the weekend if I can find a place to crash.

Questions:

What's going on in NYC the weekend of May 12/13? Anything good? Who's willing to let me crash their place for two days? :lol: or What two people are willing to let me crash their place for one night each? Is it worth keeping the car rental? Will I have a place to park?

Get back to me asap. I need to book my travel soon... Today/tomorrow. Looks like I'll be in Schenectady (Albany) from May 8 through May 12, then the night of the 12th & 13th will be mine, and I'll need to fly back on the 14th. I'm considering flying in to Albany, and out of NYC if Hertz car rental allows it, and everything looks solid.

1. lisle/newland/holosound at OPUS22 on the 6th.
2. my birthday on the 27th.

but no problemo. i got a couch, im about 30-40 minute train ride outside manhatten. (not bad at all, trust me you can drink on the train).

1. fly into JFK so you can get into manhatten easier.
2. i got a couch for a night no worry.
3. party calander for that weekend isnt up yet on rhythmism yet. so i dont know much, poto and ruby prob know more.

Friday: Chris Fortier at Crobar, Robots with Barem and residents Saturday: Tedd Patterson at Cielo

and that's all I've seen so far. Most of the smaller (read: better) clubs post their schedules closer to the date.

Too bad you're not here the night before, Chus & Ceballos are at Cielo on Thursday night.
