It's 8pm CST and Digweed's Transitions show should be on XM Radio on channel 80 The Move.

It currently says "Frankie Knuckles - Def Mix".

From the other stuff I've heard of Frankie on here - this is not him.

It's a few minutes into it and I am hearing portions of Tijuana - Groove is in the Air....

Anyone else know what is up?

I'm wanting some Transitions action!

Re: Digweed on XM Radio - The Move 80

Yeah it's definitely Frankie... it's 9:25pm CST and nothing here...

Sucks.

Anybody know if the Thursday shows will be new Transitions, or will Kiss 100 be getting fresh Transitions for the weekly kick-off and essentially Thursdays on XM will be re-runs?

I haven't listened to the EM very much on XM, but it's typically a week behind isn't it?

Here's to hoping XM gets fresh Transitions...

Re: Digweed on XM Radio - The Move 80

Hey all so this transitions show is it his kiss fm show?? So is it not on sat night sunday morning anymore? i am confused. What is this show

Re: Digweed on XM Radio - The Move 80

Transitions is Digweed's show. It's broadcast in syndication around the world. The "main feed" is Kiss 100 out of London. That's what is posted here each week.

XM Radio, the satellite radio company in the US is now broadcasting it - supposedly Thursdays at 9pm EST (although others have said 10pm... his site said 9pm...)

It wasn't on tonite, so I'm not sure what is up with the XM Radio feed.

Re: Digweed on XM Radio - The Move 80

So the show that was meant to be on last nite was a repeat of the kiss 100 transitions show from last week. Is that what u are saying??

Re: Digweed on XM Radio - The Move 80

Fired off an email to my program brother Luis at XM..... as soon as I have a reply I'll let everyone know. The show was due to start last night at 9pm but it did not, to the best of my and my radio's knowledge air.....unless John changed his name to Frankie Knuckles.

Re: Digweed on XM Radio - The Move 80

Any chance of this also on Sirius?

Re: Digweed on XM Radio - The Move 80

I doubt it. As far as I know, only XM The Move has licensed the Transitions show.

I'll be interested in hearing what is up after we hear back from Luis.

Re: Digweed on XM Radio - The Move 80

^^ haven't heard back from Luis... given he's a dj and plays out often not surprising... things have been kinda funky on The Move lately as far as programming goes.

Re: Digweed on XM Radio - The Move 80

I received an e-mail today from the nice folks over at The Move on XM Radio...

Orbit says, "It will premiere this Thursday at 3-5pm ET."

Tomorrow - giddy up!

Re: Digweed on XM Radio - The Move 80

Well, it was on as expected at 2pm.

It was Part 3 of the Brisbane set for Digweed, and Paolo Mojo as guest.

Brisbane has been great as usual... and Paolo's set was very nice indeed.

I'm hoping it'll get posted around here soon... or I may record it Monday during the replay on XM (if they are indeed doing the replays as they've been advertising...)

Re: Digweed on XM Radio - The Move 80

It was only a matter of time that the "Great One" woul'd get to XM. Once again XM radio proving that it is the best. Sorry Sirius subscribers!;)

Re: Digweed on XM Radio - The Move 80

XM is subscription only. Something like $10 a month. Plus, you have to buy a radio with satellite antenna.

I think that's what the Kiss streams out of the UK are ripped off of as well, as Kiss has satellite DAB as far as I know.

I am not sure about the Kiss thing - I saw your other post in the other thread. As far as it being on during that time slot - maybe they moved it?

His site talks about a replay on Mondays. A friend confirmed he heard an advert on The Move on XM. Supposedly 10am. I'm not certain whether that's CST (where I am) or EST.

I'm planning on recording Monday as it looks like nothing is going to surface in terms of a UK stream being distributed.
