I just switched to Verizon from Sprint and of course the 1st main importance is to get a killer ring tone.

Any verizon users out there have any suggestions?

Best I found so far was Faithless - Insomnia (Sasha B mix)

My phone allows me to record my own up to 15 seconds. it is great. I dont have to buy any of them anymore.

i edit my own in soundforge and transfer the mp3 to my motorola with the software and cable they gave me.... no way i'm paying for a ringtone. ringer currently jamming some old school information society... " a knife and a fork, a bottle and a cork, that's the way to spell new york"......

get a data cable for your PC off Ebay, install Bitpim, and use a WAV editor to make your own...

Verizon's ringtones suck and their services won't allow you to download off of other sites for the most part...

in the beginning that would have been fine, but how many times now do you hear the same cheap, generic ringtones and see several people looking thinking it's their phone that's ringin? :lol:

sprints ringtones are fucking booty quality, like someone recorded that shit off the radio and tried to pass it off like a ringtone. i currently have verizon, but i dont know how good their ringtones are , im a big fan of the ol' "rinnng, rinnng, rinnng" one.

^^^not so much the ringtones imo, no one wants to hear the phone ringing at 800dB in certain public places where you should probably have it on off, very low, or vibrate (restaurant, theater, etc.) ...

I have to have one I can recognize over everyone else's phone that is blowing up. Sounds kind of crazy but as I'm typing this I have heard 3 different phones go off.... It's kind of like the casinos here except there are no free drinks and you never seem to hit the jackpot. :lol:

careful with the razrs dude i know everyone loves them but motorola just did a recall through cingular because dust and dirt gets under the screens

the next thing will be mp3 phones (and i'm not talking about the whack ones in america with itunes and a built in memory capacity) then you have the easy ability to make whatever ringtones you want easily

just like the other folks mentioned i would clip them yourself, there are so many good beats that would make great ringtones but you need to find the right portion of the song
