Why are 18-20 yr olds charged more at the door?

Is it to do with alcohol?

agreed.... hated doing them at Spy Club here, and we were a small club. You can try all you want with extra security, hand stamps, wristbands, drink order limits etc, but inevitably there's several under 21 year olds in the bathroom, outside near the club or in the parking lot completely tossed and puking their guts out at some point during the night. Bars don't make money charging cover they make money slinging drinks. All the cover money at Spy went to paying the door people, security, resident dj's.. basically the people who weren't on "payroll". Anything left over the principle owner would pocket.
