So what tunes was hot at this years WMC?! Favorites for 2006? Bring it on...

Re: Hot picks WMC 2006

My personal favorite was a remix that Justin Martin (Buzzin'Fly) did of Peanut Butter Jelly Time  ...dude had the entire club in stitches. You just couldn't hear anything, but loud laughter when he dropped it and throughout the track.

Re: Hot picks WMC 2006

i heard deep dish dropped their typical crap 80's recycle in the form of eddie murphy's party all the time.. thank god i didnt hear that shite.

there were some great choons played by sasha and diggers.. good luck finding the names of them. lol

fuck that, i love that eddie murphy tune

Re: Hot picks WMC 2006

:di_in't:I can't believe they went there. It was good to see that all that 80s cheese that infested last year's conferance didn't make it out alive. I would have thought they would have learned from that and not even tried it.

Re: Hot picks WMC 2006

steve porter did play a "another one bites the dust" that was ok.. and a funky town.. but i am not a fan of obivous remixes.. using samples ok.. but not the whole vocal arrangment over a new beat

Re: Hot picks WMC 2006

the thing about miami...is that every record sounds better during conference time.

Re: Hot picks WMC 2006

This is the same with everything you experience "live". It can't be the same again if you try to reproduce it at home coming home from a long work day. Good tracks are good tracks but beeing up since many hours probably not sober while dancing next to dozens of other people in even worse condition makes you hear and feel the music completely different. The Whoooa track from Firday can become a Yawn track next Monday and the boring track you heard which made you go to the toilet is a mindbomb in fact. :)

We are the future of the past... We are the moment which ever stays....
