Seriosly though, I never expected it to be anywhere near that amount, I am quite shocked. Over here in the UK they are falling over backwards to give us free calls. It`s going to take me till the next WMC to pay this bastard off. :lol:

It's the same way here Mike...they just have learned to screw people on the international calls. I think it's somewhere between 1-2 dollars a minute with a US mobile phone.

^^^ no they would only pay for 10min a day to talk to family....the rest was on my own.

I got even though....on my second trip back me and my co-worker got the gas attendant to ring up the phone cards under misc food so we could claim them....we were both quitting at the end of the month so it seemed fitting at the time :)

that happned to me out in San Fran. You keep going from tower to tower and the roaming charges were huge.
