hmm, I used to have some pics of the my civic on my computer but I can't find them anymore
anyway, there is an excellent chance that will turn from my only car to a daily driver and I will have a new little toy to play with for the summer, details to follow :D

my beater/baby/tank/truck/bus whatever you want to call it... is a Nissan Pointer City 02... it is falling apart too, it is a peace of shit... dont buy it under any circunstances. it is made on brazil so there is no quality control at all. im trying to sell it anyway... the bit starts at .5 cents.

none and I absolutely love it! You don't need a car in NYC (in fact it'd be too much of a hassle) and god knows how I don't miss car payments, insurance, upkeep, repairs, etc. If I need a car, I just rent one (or zipcar) and it costs less. One hell of headache that I'm happy to be without.

Totally agree. I just renewed my Metro Card and DAMN proud of it!
(on the other hand, I do miss those therapeutic drives around town and thru the country...good for the soul)

So my beater car (83 accord) broke down a few weeks ago and I can't figure out what went wrong with it. My other car is something I only drive in summer so I needed another daily driver. I ended up looking for a Ford Probe since they seem to be good bang for the buck. Came across this one and got it on Monday:

But I got a little bonus with the car. From the factory it has a 2.5 liter V6 which goes pretty good but the owner of this one had a turbo system installed from a very reputable company here. It was taken very good care of. I'm really happy with it. The only thing that sucks is unlike my previous beater I can't really abuse it. With the 83 accord if it got wrecked I could shrug my shoulders and walk away, this one would be a little more heartbreaking.

I own 2 vehicles. A beater and my weekend/summer car. My beater is a 98 Mazda Protege which has 130k on it now. Its a good little car and I only paid 2g's for it w/ 75k on it. It's a 5 speed and has power everything and a sunroof.
My other ride is a 99 Mustang GT. This is my baby. 2 years ago the motor blew and I finally got a new block dropped in. I have LOTS of mods on the car including 19" 3 piece Racing Hart M5's, cobra bumper, suspension goodies, intake, throttle body and plenum, full exhaust, blah, blah, blah...the list goes on and on. I am living in Nashville, TN right now for school and the stang is back home in Indianapolis, IN in storage.
