only issue I had- this promoter outside the club- he was promoting The Blue Room for Sun. 7-25... I'm all for promotions, etc.. afterall there's no better way than person to person & word of mouth...

BUT - his words to me were..."[color=#ff0012]Did you enjoy the shoe tonight"[/color] Me: "Yah- Hell Yah.. my first time seein him live!" Promoter: [color=#ff0000]"If you enjoyed the show tonight, you should Definitly come to Jacksonville on Sunday.. check it out- James Holden.... he's Ten Times Better than what you heard tonight."[/color]

SO- my thought being... Is that how he promoted to everyone?? cuz that S*#@ is just Rude.... Wonder if he'd have said that to JZ as he was walkin out?? Hey come check out the Blue Room on Sunday- I"m tellin everyone who just saw your Kick A$$ set that he's better than you were....

So- I'm sendin out a Big Huge BOO... to the approach of the promoter.....

I don't know why I would even respond to that dumbass statement. Zabiela blows holden out of the water as a DJ...but I will say that holden's productions are perhaps the best there is!

I heard that asshole too, he was saying it alot, like he is best mates with Holden. I agree with CrazyMadFlyGirl, promoting your show after, repeat, AFTER someone elses show is finished is fine. But dont shit on the artist out side their own club, that just rude and makes you look a real twat. I personally like Holdesn music, Solstice is a real ear treat, never heard him spin. But I am sure he isnt 10 times better than Zabiela. And I'll most likely never go to that blue room because of this TOSSER. lol

Zabiela is one of my absolute favourite dj's!! What he plays and mixes is extacy for my ears :wink: btw, have anyone heard of Dubfire & Sharam - Penetration Deeper ? I love that mix, but I lost it somehow :(

I don't think that there'e a DJ out there that is 10 times better than J.Z. I don't even like everything he plays, BUT the man can rock the tables like only a select few. I'm sorry the @rsehole promoter had to disrespect J.Z. that way. I give J.Z. my respect for his skills and that smile... Don't ever stop smiling!!!!!!

i agree with this 100%... JZ looks like he is enjoying himself up there and it makes the party that much better... last i saw him i had to stop dancing every now and then just to watch him on the decks and it was like magic... like no one ive ever seen live before... such a star... :respect:

this guy must either be pretty darn inexperienced at promoting gigs or his ass must be on the line with the holden gig :twisted:

he could also have been just some knob sent out to hand out fliers, and got a bit big for his britches, thinking he would sound cool talking shite about JZ and that "HIS" show will be better.

fucking promo heads. they need to think about what they are saying and not so much the money ...
