Taken from ivibes interview- May 18, 2003

iVibes: Where do you see yourself in say 5 years? Adam Spears: I'm not going to answer that question because I absolutely hate it. Who ever knows? Why make a plan? Hopefully I'll be alive and happy, and able to make someone else happy. That's all that really counts.

This is an utter tragedy. My deepest condolences to all of Adam's family and friends.

May he rest in peace....

There are few tracks that touched me as much as Crayons. He might've passed away, but he will never be forgotten.

Re:: Starkid dead?

I heard about this on Friday. This is such sad news. I remember seeing Adam at a Grayarea show in Baton Rouge. He wasn't even old enough to be inside, but someone saw past age an let him in to enjoy the show. He had just released Crayons at the time. Let us all remember him, and let our prayers go to his family and friends.

Re:: Starkid dead?

It's sad to think about it, but how appropriate is his producing name now? I looked for Crayons for over a year on vinyl. One of my favorite records now. Thanks Adam. See you in the next life.

...track seven... R.I.P.

#230859Post 57 of 64

fuck.

starkid was one of those producers that inspired me to start producing, not because i thought crayons was the shit, but because he was my age and was doing what he wanted to do and getting somewhere with it too.

this is unbelievable. i was just re-reading his progressive sounds interview the other day.

how terrible.

#230860Post 58 of 64

i'm definetely going to do a tribute track for him.
