abrupt transistions between djs playing different genres, or going from hard to soft, or vice versa. youll notice clubs which have only one dancefloor that do this arent very successful. pays to have at least 1 more room for a different style.

talking on the mic over the music in the middle of a set, or yelling trying to get the crowd "into it" during buildups, which is like saying the music itself isnt enough to get the crowd going...never happened to myself, but saw it happen a couple of times to others. i would stop whatever was playing and walk out

Danny Tenaglia overuses (imo) the microphone going on rants and commentary - shut it and play the records dammit! Felt like I was listening to a radio station sometimes when I was at Vinyl/ARC.
Now Eric Morillo decided to pick up on the mic rambling...yelling out "now entering Phase 1, 2, 3, 4" as the night progressed...meanwhile it wasn't like he was heating up the vibe anymore during each new "phase" as he claimed to announce.

lol that is too funny. that would be awful to hear. what i think of is often on live sets broadcasted on german or netherlands radio stations you can hear at almost every breakdown and buildup someone on the mic screaming to the crowd with the levels cranked up too high and distorted, how much worse can you get

Re: Vibe Killers
ooh ooh...
people that drive in the left hand lane on the freeway and then leave about 100 yards before their exit to try and get across three lanes of traffic to take the exit, cutting off whoever is necessary to do so and therefore slowing down traffic for the exit lane. this happens to me twice on the way home from work every day, getting on the freeway, and getting off the freeway, and i am always in the correct lane with plenty of time. grr.
