Re: John Digweed New Mix Cd
MMII was prime "Digweed-plod-prog", absolute coma inducing shite, Involver wasn't brilliant but it pissed over Digweed's effort

Man, Jenks was right. This board stays dead all day until someone brings up the words 'Digweed' and/or 'Sasha'.
Re: John Digweed New Mix Cd
i bet the gu board is proud of you.
Re: John Digweed New Mix Cd
I just hope this cd is not like his radio show. Which has sucked more than it has rocked.
Re: John Digweed New Mix Cd
Boy, it must be something in the water up there in Ohio.

very true :Bingo:
Re: John Digweed New Mix Cd
see chem knows what I'm talking about. come on ska you know it hasn't been all that great in the last couple months. It seems as if he puts together a really great mix every three months. Then we all get back into listening...then he goes back and plays stuff that none of us really wanna hear. I wanna hear Digweed bang it out like we know he can.
And BTW. it's all this damn cold weather compared to your 75 degrees all week every week.

Agreed.
Fuck I love involver....,

bah, not true.
great digweed mixes from the end of '05, and start of '06
havent had a chance to listen to many of the feb mixes yet, but i'm sure they'll be a gem or two in there.
Re: John Digweed New Mix Cd
i thought we had all come to the conclusion that his show is essentially his chart and it just so happens to be mixed. the weeks new releases coincide with a number of tunes he plays each week. with someone who has so much going on (record labels, gigs, cd comps, radio shows) he just cant put all his juice into a radio show that the MAJORITY of listners don't download for total disection and comparison to their best digweed experience ever.. perhaps you'r not into his new direction of music, but that's not his fault.
Re: John Digweed New Mix Cd
Agreed.

well if you agree, i disagree.
with myself.
Re: John Digweed New Mix Cd
i havent listened to a digweed kiss mix for years!
Re: John Digweed New Mix Cd
Good News, I wonder when this going to get released. I will be picking this up the day it comes out.
Re: John Digweed New Mix Cd
come on ska you know it hasn't been all that great in the last couple months.
Couldn't tell you...I haven't listened to one (other than Part 3 of the Pawn Shop mix) in well over a year.
i thought we had all come to the conclusion that his show is essentially his chart and it just so happens to be mixed. the weeks new releases coincide with a number of tunes he plays each week
For some reason the same few people just can't grasp this very basic reality. If they would take 2 hours and play one of his studio Kiss mixes back-to-back with a Kiss mix that's cut from a live gig, it would become self-evident. But that would take time...and...a brain.

End of the day its his show to play what he wants, and he uses it to play stuff he couldnt otherwise and showcase new tracks / artists. Regardless of whether or not each set is to your liking you have to give the guy credit for that in itself, plus its his artistic right to do what the fuck he wants anyway.

Not sure why you quoted me on it as I agree with you, but I wish some of these other degenerates would be able to get it through their thick Cro-Magnon skulls that one is a...get this...RADIO show and the other is a live set. Notice you don't hear people bitching about Nic Fanciulli's sets vs. his Residency show (when he was still on it). That's just one example but it gets the point across.
Re: John Digweed New Mix Cd
i'm really looking forward to this cd. i think it's going to be huge.
Re: John Digweed New Mix Cd
I hope it's nothing like his Fabric CD. I didn't care for that at all.
Re: John Digweed New Mix Cd
yeah i wasn't so excited about that fabric cd too. but mmii was awesome! i'm just hoping that this new one will top them all. can't wait...
