I have a Computer Networking degree with 2 years of Computer Programming....found it wasn't for me so I am back in school taking a post graduate course in Human Resource Management

I still work at the same furniture store that I delivered for during my senior year. Now I'm a sales rep and handle our advertising and graphic design. I freelance on the side.

Graduated in 2003 with a BA Hons in Business & Law, with Human geography

I actually enjoyed the geography section more than the business. Couldn't tell you anything about business theory but I can talk for ages about human geography (genocide, demography etc)

My major in college was clubbing. Political Science & Philosophy too. Thank god my pops was picking up the tab.

Arrived at thesis time and realized I had nothing in common with most of my professors views. I couldn't stand it any more.

Decided I need a trade. I don't need a lot but what I do like is usually expensive. So I graduated with a Business degree emphasis in Finance with minors in Political Science and Philosophy.

And now I am an accountant. And I actually like my job.

Pretty exciting to be making that decision. As far as MIS, job availability and desired salary depend on geographic location / industry supporting the jobs, your experience and skill set in demand. I know people and have worked in small, medium and large cities and there is no real balance of perfect job environment, salary, cost of living, health care.. etc. You'll need to research that when looking for your fit and rate what you are looking for 1st.

believe it or not..insurance! i know i know..what's a fresh, cool guy as you doing with insurance.. i am finishing my communication and media study now, so no way i will ever work in a bank or insurance company
