anyone into these guys? I personally think they make some of the most refreshing, forward thinking, and unique breaks tracks out there. I had the pleasure of seeing them twice last year and they killed it both times. I remember hearing that they were comming down to charlotte and i was broke as a joke at the time and i stayed in an entire weekend just so i could save my money and go see evil nine. They brought an mc that tore it up, he wasnt annoying like alot of drum n bass mcs can be, and he certainly knew when to shut up and let the music do its thing. anyways, this thread is dedicated to the appreciation of evil nine. :D

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Always smash Fabric when they play there ( their Fabric cd is up and coming ), and although some of their stuff can sound a bit samey, good producers too. In fact the Alex Dolby remix they did is IMO the best remix of any genreI have heard in a few years....

Love their stuff.... a staple of my record box for a long time. Throw Andrew Byrne aka Hellpass in that mix as well..... Dirty and grungy breaks, just the way I like it.

They opened for Carl Cox here in San Diego a couple of months ago.

Really, really enjoyed their set. Was impressed by the way it built.
