Re: Bugatti Veron...
HOLY HELL this guy's just fucking insane.... check his intro on the Kia Rio
Under normal circumstances I know you’re not very interested in cars like the Kia Rio you see photographed here. However, stick with me because you can buy it, brand new, for one pound. One pound is really very little for a full-size car. Actually, it’s even very cheap for a two-inch model of a car. I’m not sure, but I bet you couldn’t even buy a pair of shoes for a pound.
Plainly, there are going to be a few drawbacks with a car this cheap. And sure enough, there are. You may have seen The Fly II, in which a scientist attempts to teleport a dog. In one of the most gruesome scenes I’ve seen in a film it arrives at its destination completely inside out. Well the Rio is uglier than that.
...... you should see the quality of the interior trim. I’ve used many metaphors in the past to describe cheap-looking plastic but none seems to work here. It’s not like it was made from a melted Action Man. It’s not like a video rental box. It’s even worse than a Barnsley market trader’s Pacamac.
The New York Times reviewed this car too and thought it was great. The English guy didn't mention that at 200 mph you have about 12 minutes of gas. ;)
I'd still want a ride!
Re: Bugatti Veron...
That car is nuts!!!! Did anyone here see the TopGear episode where he races this car from Italy to London against a Cessna!!! That was classic!
From behind the wheel of a Veyron, France is the size of a small coconut. I cannot tell you how fast I crossed it the other day. Because you simply wouldn’t believe me. I also cannot tell you how good this car is. I just don’t have the vocabulary. I just end up stammering and dribbling and talking wide-eyed nonsense. And everyone thinks I’m on drugs.
Re: Bugatti Veron...
im suprised i acutlly like the mitsubishi evo
Re: Bugatti Veron...
Doesn't Bugatti make a van that can go 180mph? Talk about getting your kids to soccer practice quick!
Re: Bugatti Veron...
You might point out at this juncture that the McLaren F1 could top 240mph, but at that speed it was pretty much out of control. And anyway it really isn?t in the same league as the Bugatti. In a drag race you could let the McLaren get to 120mph before setting off in the Veyron. And you?d still get to 200mph first.
That is mind boggling shit. I saw Top Gear when the Bugatti was on and some of the facts he was coming out with were astonishing. It has a 100 litre fuel tank and if driven at top speed will burn the lot in 12 minutes. It can do something like 0-100 and back down to 0 again in 8 secondsCan you imaging the shear noise coming from that fucker ! It even has 10 radiotors ffs. I like it.
The very next day I put my order in.
