ok so there is this new trend here in las vegas , all the clubs do it. they play hip hop (almost all the clubs here just play hip hop), and then the dj will play a couple of classic rock songs, usually ac/dc, gnr , lenard skynard, etc..... some hip hop songs are remixes of these songs ..i guess they call it mash up. what is going on? is this the future of clubbing? :Barf: is this happening anywhere else? it's a vegas turist thing huh?

guess you just have a wide range of clubbers out there. dj's are trying to appeal to the masses, be it shit or actual music. go to a different bar/club i suppose.

I've seen this before, its not pretty. :Hurl: Usually its in the really shitty bars that turn into clubs for the weekends, but I have seen it in actual nightclubs too. Don't worry though its not going anywhere.

i've been to the one in orlando , this one is more of an ultralounge and pretty much one of the places that plays house only a couple of night a week..... but they gave into the cheese a couple of nights a week

Hip-hop culture has certainly had a big influence on UK clubs

Its cool, very different night out to progressive house

when I went to Dubai the DJ played both, which you would think would be crap but for me the energy was incredible!!

It does suck when all clubs in a town follow each other
