Re:: Recommendation weeks on [ms]
Well i`ll put my recomendation in, take it or leave it.
Justin Robertson essential mix 20 05 94. A little old yes but one hell of a musical journey. I love this mix with all it`s wierd and wonderfull tunes. Not to everyones taste but then what is. :RockOn:
i recommend surf music and guided by voices :P
start with this one: http://www.volckmann.com/mp3s/Batman_Theme.mp3 :RockOn:
Re:: Recommendation weeks on [ms]
if we took recommendations from everyone on here, we'd have a list a mile long.
we got it covered...the list is already long for the goodies coming up on MS. and booooooooooy do we have some gems coming up :RockOn:
thx guys for the shares. some really good tastes, enjoyed all the sets.
suck up :roll:
bah.
just a note that we labelled the K&D set wrong. it's actually 11 April 2002 :wink:
the tyrant set is also labelled wrong i think. the date should be MAY 30th according to the bbc site :wink:
here's a reccomendation: fix the PM notification for me. also the topic reply notification. :twisted:
just a note that we labelled the K&D set wrong. it's actually 11 April 2002 :wink:
:lol: :wink:
and when i said we i meant TomTom :P
dorkS
:wink:
i still think that tyrant date is wrong :?
and when i said we i meant TomTom :P
i assumed that anyway :Tongue:

I am to blame for the typo in the K&D set but I got Tyrant like this from Jenks. PM him for further details or accusations. :lol:
the first person that pm's me about the tyrant set date is going to get banned. :P and Tom will be to blame. :P
just listen to it, does it really matter what the fking date is?
and btw peloquin, you were the one posting the false tracklist for this set in the first place..."Because that's what the Radio 1 page said." Maybe the Radio 1 page is wrong, again.
Re:: Recommendation weeks on [ms]
Just to settle this Tyrant date thing once and for all. It was recorded on 29-May and played later that night on Annie Nightingale's show (broadcast 30-May).
Re:: Recommendation weeks on [ms]
Enough nerd talking about dates now. :)
The next round of recommendations is uploading right now.
First one is a recommendation from Arielus: Hernan Cattaneo - Cream Spring@Clubland Pacha, Buenos Aires 20th september 2003 pt3. This set was broadcasted on Metrodance in 2003 but Arielus has the soundboard recording of this gig without voiceovers. It?s the third hour of this five hour long set. Part four will be hosted soon as well.
Next recommendation is from Encryption. He's on vacation now (hope you enjoy the days off, bro) and before he left he said to me he has chosen this one because he listened to it often while he was doing upgrades on this board and really enjoyed it: Alexis - Live@Vertigo 18th January 2002
Last but not least we have an old school set from John Digweed which is recommended from Rubyraks: John Digweed - live@the Hacienda, Manchester 1993
very nice 8)
nice work tommy.
Paolo Mojo Essential Mix would be great to get.
You guys are spoiling us. . . . Thanks! :D
More Hernan and classic Digweed... Am I dreaming...:shock:
these sets are all superb
hardfloor takes the cake without a doubt... obsene acid madness in the way only hardfloor can do... thanks tomtom :D
K&D set is fucking nice too..... will be burnt to cd to be enjoyed in the way it should... in the sun with a spliff :D
tyrant is good but not their best IMO. anyone wanting more tyrant should go to 4four and download the 6 part studio martin set... obsene
and for once i actually enjoyed a sasha set! more out of interest for what he was playing then... cool to have a listen. shame the volume always seem to dip during the mix though :(
D'oh! Can't believe I've missed the Hardfloor set! :cry:
I really should check the downloads more often!
