I have downloaded and configured this software, a lil iffy if you ask me, the library thing is enought to confuse even the most advanced audiogalaxy/kazaa veteran

audiogalaxy was nice back in the day.. but slsk has now replaced it and i don't think many users will switch back to it.. especially if it's as confusing as you say it is.

Mmmmm I loved Audiogalaxy, back when I first came across it in late '97 I could not believe it....

If it's the same or similar I would switch back and leave slsk in a heartbeat.

Hey guys, we still haven't figured out the connection between Folder Share and Audio Galaxy. So, Audio Galaxy is not back and will probably never return, although it was IMO by far the best p2p software there ever was... 8)

Same here, I had my whole office using it. I would be the underground IT dept for the "unwork" related material. hehee

I had two computers going at the same time. I would turn the PC on at home in the morning B 4 leaving to work.

Would send stuff to that satellite while DL on pc at work as well, by the time I got home I had like 100 freshly downloaded sets and songs... sheesh what a blast! :mrgreen:

The link is FolderShare is made by the guys that did AudioGalaxy Its no where near as good as AG was, pretty much like Direct Connect hubs I think or like a Soulseek where you can only view the files available on your userlist Don't know if the new version has introduced a Search function but the beta I trialled at work was pretty basic and not worth the trouble

AG was indeed the best p2p back in the day. I'd gladly switch back to it, so let us know how FolderShare fares ...
