damn the magnification is incredibile on this thing, still nothing to beat Google Earth though.... if you zoom down enough on major Metropolitans all over the world like NYC / Tokyo etc. you can actually make out cars / traffic / people walking.... its insane

Yeah, found that a couple of months back - it is incredible. I'm pretty sure that the satellite overlays on Google Map are from Google Earth.

It's pretty easy to find just about anywhere. Just put the name of the place along with the word "latitude" into a [I]normal[/I] Google search and any number of sites will pop up giving the latitude and longitude. Put the figures into the Fly To bar in Google Earth and that's it...

they supposedly have Google Mars ([url]http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/postlist.php/Cat/0/Board/mars[/url])... but it's only avail for paying customers I think. Until then you can check the [url]http://moon.google.com[/url] site and view the Moon landing sites just like you would with Google Maps
