If I paid money to go to a club I wouldn't have anyone telling me what I can and can't do with a cell phone. I thought the idea was punters pay money to hear music, not be dictated to???

That aside, I heard him at Bedrock, London back in about 2000, it was the launch party for GU london. I remember I got an e-mail from bedrock saying he was the unannounced special guest.At short notice none of my mates could come so i went on my own - one of the best nights I've ever had in my entire life. Was dancing next to the GU fat lads half the night, he tore the place a new arsehole. Started off his set with jam&Spoon-Stella and was layering the vocals from Green Velvet-Flash all over the place. Very talented, prepares for every set so methodically. so what if he talks over tracks? adds to the whole 'danny t' experience. Is it any worse than junior vasquez shutting himself into the dj booth all night??

I totally agree. I see that some people who have posted are thinking that people like I are questioning his DJ skills or the tracks that he plays. That's completely false. I live in the NJ / NYC area and have seen him many times and maybe too many times. All I'm saying is that if people pay money to go to a club like the adults that we are to go hear music I'm not going to have some severly insecure DJ tell me I can't take a pic with my cell phone or do whatever that is not offeding or hurting anyone else.

Ok how about instead of Mr. Tenaglia kicking out some girl for taking a pic with her cell phone, how about making an announcement "If you are on or going to take drugs, I will not play" how about that D.T.????

Then you need to get to NYC and catch one of his sets, Or get to WMC and catch his birthday set down there, or Ibiza perhaps. Every night is like that there.
