Re: The next G.U. album is....

Might be interesting. But GU needs to do something different instead of the same djs over and over again.

Re: The next G.U. album is....

I liked both compilations, the first one more than the second one though..the 1st release was a bit more experimental and unique which is a good thing in my book.
I heard the next one is DJ Tiesto on The Moon
lol...actually i had heard its DJ Sammy - Antarctica

seriously, no disrespect to Nick Warren and others, but i think it would be nice to kind of mix it up a bit with either some djs who havent had a GU mix yet, or maybe one who hasnt done a GU in some time, DT for example.

JZ just came out with 2 recent albums with Renaissance. Why would u want a GU when u got 2 Renaissance CDs from him? GU doesnt make things better, not anymore. Plus, he is signed with Renaissance, so he wont do a GU. Well it doesnt seem likely. Never say never. Same thing with Hernan and Dave Seaman (thank god).

well i am hope it's either Pappa been too long. Digweed would be great, Holden, or someone like Michael Mayer or Chloe Harris. :p

Re: The next G.U. album is....

the downtempo gu's are the only ones worth speaking of anymore.

there are so many other comp series that do better things then GU, people really need to start noticing them. times have changed.

Re: The next G.U. album is....

What happened to the days when every new GU was a must own and totally changed the face of dance music??

Might be time to give it up.

I came to that conclusion about 1 month ago.....although I have enjoyed GU series to date, they are getting further apart in the releases and now I find myself lacking in quality music. And now I am looking into series like Fabric, Fabriclive, Y4K and Balance. Now I can't get enough of The Plump Dj's, Meat Katie, Phil K and the rest of the breaks style Dj's out there. Just shows you what can happen when labels stop putting out music, people look to other labels to fill the need.

Re: The next G.U. album is....

You people are way to spoiled with all these mix cd's. There are free mix cd's floating around this space all the time that there is no way you could listen to them all unless you were maybe jobless.

And stop saying that people that have already had three mix cd's out in three years need another.

This message is directed to those who always hark up Hernan, Masiello and JZ.
