I just showed up to work 130 minutes late.
I don't think anybody noticed :Who:

Re: hmmm
what? i do not get it.
Re: hmmm
i get the same feeling here sometimes, i could probably show up for 10 minutes in the middle of the day and then leave again and nobody would realize
i do have to clock in though... :x

English Mother Fuckers!
Re: hmmm
nobody definitely noticed. I walked in, went up to the 4th floor, and nobody has noticed that I'm late. this is perfect!
I normally sit on the 6th floor. this week my boss has me sitting in an empty office on the 4th floor to support some people at their whim. everyone on 6 thought I was on 4, everyone on 4 thought I was on 6. no clocking in, no time tracking, no nothing.
I had someone deliver something to me 15 minutes ago and said "Everyone on 6 said you were down here, so here you go." nobody had a clue

Re: hmmm
I almost always do... but today's situation worked out perfectly.
we have a company-wide instant messenger, and when I logged into it one of my chat buddies immediately pinged me and said "two hours late huh?"
she works in another city. "nope. just forgot to open sametime."
i'm in.
Re: hmmm
George would take advantage of this situation....

Re: hmmm
my new job now I can get away with being like 5, 10 minutes late and probably no one would notice...130? nope.
Worst time was when I was 4 hours late at my last job...that went over nicely

Re: hmmm
I just started a new position at my company. I used to work in the Software support dept. (call center). I had to be on time, clocked in, chained to my cube at 8AM.
I now have so much freedom !! I can get up in the morning and check email from home...Then stroll in when I see fit. So fucking great!
