i dont expect it to work "all the time" but i do expect to have a couple of bars of coverage at least 70-80% of the time. cingular coverage for me is like i can walk across the fucking street and lose all my bars. everyone i know that has cingular is the same way. maybe its vancouver... who knows, but they suck. and its a shame, because it seemed much better when it was At&t before the merge. after the merge, nothing but trouble. cant wait to ditch these bastards. and i am not naive about how cellphones work, i dont know everything about them but i sold them for about 2 years and spent another year working in a warehouse for a company that sold them, so i know a fair bit. i have also had over the years 3 different companies (t-mobile, but it was called something different at the time, at&t pre-merge, and now cingular.) t-mobile - whatever it was before here - was the best, but i lost my job and was unemployed for a while, this was about 4 years ago, so i had to cancel the service. i was with at&t for a couple of years before the merge and had a few problems, but not as many as with cingular. to each their own, but i fucking hate them!!!
