i'm not sure how many fans there are of this show here, but i'm a diehard west wing junkie.

John Spencer died today of a heart attack at age 58. i'm not normally affected by passings of celebrities, but this guy was a phenomenal actor, and a great person (from what i've seen of interviews and of what people who met him have been saying). I cant see what they're going to do to fill the void he'll leave on the show. such a sad day :(

Man he was a great actor and he brought a lot to the performances he did. He will be missed. i loved him on the West Wing.

rent the first season and watch it, you'll be a fan. best show on tv, even without aaron sorkin writing it anymore.

It's pretty much the most liberally biased show on TV. If you're a liberal, it's tits. If you're not, then it's trash.

thats a big load of crap. first off, they're not only winning emmy's, but golden globes as well. no way in hell is survivor gonna win one of those. and the emmy thing was only a refrenece to how phenomenal the acting on the show is.

second, it may be a 'liberal' (you americans use that word in such a derogatory tone) show, but they definitely do air both right and left opinions. several characters on the show have been republicans (ie. ainsley hayes) and have made very valid points on behalf of the right. not sure why it matters anyways...its a TV show, shouldn't let it offend your republican sensibilites that much.
