Re: Another stupid question by me
Thank u Encryption :D
Re: Another stupid question by me
Ok i read it it made little sense to me, my guess is that u use cue sheets to break up long mixes. for example if u have a 1 hour mix and the tracks are not labeled u break down the tracks to individual tracks using cue file and these files get thier proper names, just like a cd u buy from a shop. Am i correct? also i need to use nero to do this am i correct? Sorry to be a pain in the ass but it would be good to know what tracks i am listening to instead of one long continous mix. thanks for any help guy's and gals :)
Re: Another stupid question by me
you are right.... also it will enter the file names into the songs only if you enter them into the cue sheets prior to burning, moreover those names are displayed only if your cd player can read and display song names
Re: Another stupid question by me
Ok so now i need nero. i think i have it. i will give it a go 2moz. i usually download alot of mixes and chunk them on my pod. if it works 2moz it will be great so that now i know what tracks i am listening to. Thanks again encryption. if i have any problem i hope u don't mind helping me out :)?
Re: Another stupid question by me
cue sheets are meant for burning cds, wont work if you put shit on your ipod....
Re: Another stupid question by me
i know but if i copy those files from my cd that has been burnt onto my pod that would work as well, won't it? so then it would look like a cd on my pod with the tracks broken up. also i could save the files onto my hard drive and put it into a folder. eg digweed kiss fm 20/11/2004 folder. then all the music from that hour has been burnt to seperate tracks and then i copy that folder to my pod. Hope i make sense.
Re: Another stupid question by me
Anyway i will give it a go 2moz sometme and if it works iwill let ya know and if it does'nt i let ya know aswell. Thanks for your ime encryption i keep ya in touch with what i am trying to do with it all that is if i don't make sense to ya. :)
I never got my cue sheets to work with nero or anything else
me neither:what
Re: Another stupid question by me
I don`t use cue sheets :(
Re: Another stupid question by me
even with CDRWIN? has always worked for me with that... although i don't use cuesheets that often. i just rock the full mix.. you should never need to jump to certain tracks imo. ;)
Re: Another stupid question by me
If you guys can't get cuesheets to work with Nero you either use an old version that has problems with cuesheets (don't ask me which version, just update your hopefully original Software to the newest release :p ) or you are doing something wrong and missed one of the steps that are described in the thread E posted a link to.
Re: Another stupid question by me
cue sheets can be played on winamp. just use dll-file on winamp.com.
