why is it sad? that is the nature of the beast. dog eat dog etc.... if I could make a buck doing a dj tour even though I had no idea what I was doing I would absolutely do it.

i've seen some pictures of some of his events on the web somewhere and the parties were straight candy raves. bracelets, parachute pants, visors, half the crowd sprawled out on the floor because they're too fucked to stand....yea...go pedro.

I heard he was an absolute disaster at Avalon here in NYC this past Friday - both on the turntables and just in his treatment of the staff.

And Paris Hilton won a Dancestar award for dj'ing (like those necess. matter though)...so the world of dj'ing has been muddled for a long time.

But it is true that dj'ing for a living is a lot better than doing the 9-5. I've got two guys that I know personally that make their living like that. Well three if you count me. But I need another gig or two before I really call it a living.
