I work in an IT dept. All day nothing happens. My boss plays championship manager and surfs all day (not here thank god :lol: )

the 2 other guys are asleep at their desks at the moment and I just closed all the blinds and am getting kinda cosy here think I might join them. I only got in today at 11.30 and then we took a 2 hour lunch and ended up in the bookies and put a few bets on even though Im not in to horses.

there used to be 400 people working here. theres now 90 and anyone I talk to around the office isnt doing anything. we were taken over by an american co-operation a couple of years back and I think they have forgotten about us but there is no sign of them shutting us down.

now thats enough work for one day I think I better go home

it pisses me off at times cause days can drag by when your bored but thats the only down side. Im sure the day will come when Ill have to work for a real company

you should try working in my office:what ..everybody is running around like crazy.. the owner fucking yells at everybody all day. the senior partner fucking screams at people like he wants to killthem (literally) all day.. no joke.. everytime i walk by his office i look the other way so i dont make any kind of eye contact... phones are ringing of the hook all day. everybody is passing the buck..good lord cant wait to get back in the nightclub.. these 9 - 6 shifts are killing me, more stressful than being a t the club.. for a month and a half i was doing both office 9-6 club 830-6am.. for a week and a half i've only been doing the office...kill me now....

that sounds awesome! Today, though, I got in at 10:45, then drove up to look at an apartment to live in. I got some lunch on the way back and was in the office again before 2. But talked to me GF on the phone for a little while, then did the rounds at work and saw what some of my friends were up to... it's 3 now, and I think I'm about ready to go home....

of course I gave my two weeks notice last week, so it's not like they can fire me... but I don't see anyone else around here doing any work either.

damn I need to lose some weight
