Re: Prog capital of the US??
Finally someone mentions NYC! Some great things happening, what with Satoshi Tomiie and Danny Tenaglia out there. Speaking of, what's Tenaglia been up to? He doesn't ever seem to tour.
Re: Prog capital of the US??
this might not count but toronto (just over the boarder) has a stellar prog scene imo.
Re: Prog capital of the US??
NYC for sure.
Re: Prog capital of the US??
NYC is my choice. But I do agree with sightless that it used to be orlando. In the 90's that was the place to be. I have heard a lot of great mixes during that time.
Re: Prog capital of the US??
Most def NYC.

Tenaglia has been busy making up more party fowl rules:p
Re: Prog capital of the US??
i hate teneglia. good to listen to when he plays deep tribal house, but god, what a toolbox.
Re: Prog capital of the US??
ny for sure. but NYC is also becoming big in the minimal techno scene. lots of underground shit in BK and the small spots in the village.
Re: Prog capital of the US??

definitely great prog being supported in Toronto at the moment.
Re: Prog capital of the US??
I agree... Sure there are a lot of great cities now that have great prog, but there will only be one place where it all went down... NYC... It all started at Twilo and thanks to Giuliani you just have to look a little harder to find the places to party!
Re: Prog capital of the US??
new york without a doubt!
Re: Prog capital of the US??
NOT Los Angeles. I haven't heard any decent progressive house out in ages... We do get a lot of cheez ass trance I even think that AVB has a residency at Avalon.:x
