This looks very cool. And I must say, it's about time. It's supposed to be out next month.
It's even linked directly to beatport. Imagine this: you're out dj'ing, somebody requests something you don't have, buy it wirelessly and download, and you're king of the party. Cool.

^^^ exactly. And is there people who would actually request something that beatport has? I usually get requests for tiesto and avb, or a little crap track called rapture. I have yet to play any of it.

I've seen Sasha play requests... even ones shouted from the crowd... I expect he wouldn't have done back in the day though. New technology makes it far too easy to take far too much music and some of it just doesn't compare to the clarity, simplicity and beauty of a lovingly crafted vinyl set.
As for Traktor, I saw they used it in a lot of bars in the Balearics with a couple of time stamped records, which is great since they are going for a whole variety of music and not necessarily playing a main stage set.
Anyway, what the frill do I know?

you would have to sell a lot of requests at $5 a pop(no pun intended) to get one but this looks like a good accesory to traktor 3

That's what I'm going to start doing. This friday, anyone who comes up to me and askes if they can hear something. I'm just going to ask. "how badly do you wanna hear it?" and then maybe make a gesture of money with my hand. If i'm going to play a song I don't like, I might as well get a little something extra for doing it.

whats the point of 4 decks on a computer program when there isn't a single piece of hardware that you could connect to use all 4 at once ? Or am i wrong ?
I mean there really isn't an external controller for it which makes it pointless in my opinion.
