so I am confused, if not mainstream, then how have things given in to pressure to change? Or do you mean like evolution making species evolve to survive and change due to pressure to survive? Sort of like an independant organism saying,"If you can't beat em', join em?" and sucking it up and starting a symbiotic relationship that although frightening and new turns out to be the perfectly intelligent thing to do?

I think I agree with everyone. Heh.

This board has definitly changed a lot since the beginning...I do have to agree that it has come to feel more and more like the GU board did at the time... Not to say that that is bad, but that the ratio of crap:content has continually risen... But thats just what happens when a site becomes popular. go MS!

Oh the flip, it probably feels a lot like that because in that time, a lot has happened in my life too. The person I was then who would check 10 times a day for new fun things slowly stopped responding.. and slowly only checked once a week... and suddenly, i find myself hardly ever checking anymore.

Later cowardly, enjoy life!

And if I continue to fade away.. Later everyone else!

Not that I expect too many people to even recognize my name.. Since the closest I ever came to post-whore-dom was right before the first major board reset. but none the less!!

I for one do know you...... I dont forget a lot of the names of peeps who have come and gone (as phases in their lives permitted). I love meeting / getting to know people, their hard times, their happiness, their joys, their sorrows, their loves, their hates, their everything.... all at a moment in time when they make it onto MS.... and its that moment that I get to be a part of the story of their lives, directly or indirectly......

but even if you do move on, drop in and say hi once in a while mate..... and it goes for all of you..... as George Clooney stated it so well in Three Kings.... necessity is what drives us all....
